Outlook Email Instructions

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Open Outlook on your computer or Classic Outlook on your mobile device.
   
   
2. Go to File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles (instead of the outdated “Tools” menu).
   
   
3. Select “New”, then choose IMAP, and click Next.
   
   
4. Select “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”, then click Next.
   
   
5. Enter your User Information:
   • Name: Enter your name as you want it to appear to others.
   • Email Address: Enter your full email address.
     
     
6. Enter Server Information:
   • Account Type: Select IMAP.
   • Incoming Mail Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
   • Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
     
     
7. Enter Logon Information:
   • User Name: Your full email address.
   • Password: Enter your password.
   • Check “Remember password” (optional).
     
     
8. Click “More Settings”, then configure the following:
   • Outgoing Server Tab:
     • Check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.
     • Select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”.
   • Advanced Tab:
9. • Check “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)”.
   • Select SSL next to the Outgoing server.
   • If needed: 
     Incoming Mail Server Port: 993 (for IMAP).
     Outgoing Mail Server Port: 465 (for SMTP)
     
     
10. Click OK, Next, and Finish to complete the setup.
11. Send yourself a test email to ensure that you can send and receive messages properly.
