COMPETITION INFORMATION

PERSONAL INTERVIEW 40%
An interview will be conducted between each contestant and each of the five (5) judges. Each contestant will have five (5) minutes with each judge. The judges are not allowed to ask political or religious questions. Each contestant will need to have a platform for which she will speak during her year of reign, if she is selected as the winner of Miss Teen Massachusetts International. The dress for the interviews is Business Attire.
 
FITNESS 20%
Each contestant will wear a 2-piece fitness outfit (not a swim suit). Each contestant will be judged on her physical fitness, energy, and health.
 
FUN FASHION WEAR 20%
Each Contestant will wear her own personal choice of fashion wear. Each contestant will be judged on her overall personality on stage.
 
EVENING GOWN 20%
Each contestant will wear her own personal choice of evening gown. Each contestant will be judged on her grace, poise, and elegance in Evening Wear.



OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS

The following are the offiial rules and regulations of Miss Teen International. The contestants must read and adhere to the following rules and regulations in order to participate in the Miss Teen International program. To be eligible as a contestant:

• The contestant must be at least 13 years of age and no older than 19 years
of age by the date of the Miss Teen International National Pageant.

• The contestant must be of good health and moral character.

• The contestant must be single, never have been married, and never have given
birth to a child.

• The contestant must never have been convicted of a felony crime.

• The contestant vying for a state title must be a U.S.citizen. The contestant
vying for an international title must have proof of citizenship of the
country she represents in the international competition.

• A contestant may be selected to participate as a delegate “at-large” if there
is no competition in her state or country.

• The contestant will be subject to a sponsor fee, which may vary from
state to state and country to country.

• The contestant must never have posed, nor will she pose during her reign, for
any photograph, video, or film involving nudity or pornography. In addition,
the contestant must never have been, or is presently, associated with
any type of employment involving partial or full nudity.

• A contestant or family member or guest showing less than sportsman-like
behavior will lead to the disqualification of the contestant. Under these
circumstances, no refund will be given to the contestant.

• The decisions of judges on the local, state, international and national level
are final and irrevocable.

• The contestant agrees to abide by all the rules and regulations of the regional,
state and international competitions.

• The contestant will permit Miss Teen International and/or its licensees the
right to use the contestant's photograph for publicity purposes in
connection with Miss Teen International competitions.

• The contestant will permit Miss Teen International and/or its licensees to televise
live, or by use of film or videotape, any portion or all of the competition.

• The contestant understands that Miss Teen International reserves the right
to change the date and & location of the Miss Teen
International National Pageant.

The contestant understands that, if she is selected as the winner of her competition, for the year of her reign her professional affairs as said winner will be under the sole management of Miss Teen International and/or its licensees. In addition, the contestant understands that she will not give written or oral endorsements commercially without the express permission of Miss Teen International and/or its licensees. The contestant further acknowledges that all rights for any appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, etc. resulting from winning or being a contestant in any regional, state, or international competition affiliated with Miss Teen International shall belong exclusively to Miss Teen International and/or its licensees.
