Outlook Email Instructions

Our servers require TLS 1.2 or newer. If you have Windows 7 or 8 installed, your system will not meet the minimum security requirements for secured email in Outlook. In this case, you should set up your email in another program or on a different device. You can also use Webmail to check your account(s) on a browser. 

Open Outlook on your computer or Classic Outlook on your mobile device, then follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

  1. Open Outlook on your computer or Classic Outlook on your mobile device.

  2. Go to File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles (instead of the outdated “Tools” menu).

  3. Select “New”, then choose IMAP, and click Next.

  4. Select “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”, then click Next.

  5. Enter your User Information:
    • Name: Enter your name as you want it to appear to others.
    • Email Address: Enter your full email address.

  6. Enter Server Information:
    • Account Type: Select IMAP.
    • Incoming Mail Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
    • Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com

  7. Enter Logon Information:
    • User Name: Your full email address.
    • Password: Enter your password.
    • Check “Remember password” (optional).

  8. Click “More Settings”, then configure the following:
    • Outgoing Server Tab:
      • Check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.
      • Select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”.
    • Advanced Tab:
    • Check “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)”.
    • Select SSL next to the Outgoing server.

  9. Click OK, Next, and Finish to complete the setup.

  10. Send yourself a test email to ensure that you can send and receive messages properly.
