Android Email Set Up

To set up your email account manually in the default Android Email app, follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Open the Email app on your Android device.
   
   
2. Tap “Add Account” or go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account.
   
   
3. Enter your email address (david@sayitontheweb.com) and tap “Manual Setup”.
   
   
4. Select “IMAP” as the account type.
   
   
5. Enter Incoming Mail Server details:
   • IMAP Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
   • Security Type: TLS (Accept all certificates)
   • Port: 993
   • Username: Your full email address (david@sayitontheweb.com)
   • Password: Enter your password.
     
     
6. Enter Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) details:
   • SMTP Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
   • Security Type: SSL (Accept all certificates)
   • Port: 465
   • Authentication required before sending emails: Enabled
   • Username: Your full email address (david@sayitontheweb.com)
   • Password: Enter your password.
     
     
7. Tap “Sign In” to complete the setup.
   
   
8. Send yourself a test email from the account you just set up to ensure that you can send and receive messages properly.
