Set Up Your Email Account In Gmail

To set up your email account manually in the Gmail app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Gmail app on your device.
   
   
2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select “Add another account”.
3. Select “Other (IMAP/POP)” when prompted to choose an email provider.
   
   
4. Enter your email address (e.g., david@sayitontheweb.com) and tap “Manual Setup”.
   
   
5. Choose “IMAP” as the account type.
   
   
6. Enter Incoming Mail Server details:
   • IMAP Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
   • Security Type: TLS (Accept all certificates)
   • Port: 993
   • Username: Your full email address (david@sayitontheweb.com)
   • Password: Enter your password.
     
     
7. Enter Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) details:
   • SMTP Server: hostnew.sayitontheweb.com
   • Security Type: SSL (Accept all certificates)
   • Port: 465
   • Authentication required before sending emails: Enabled
   • Username: Your full email address (david@sayitontheweb.com)
   • Password: Enter your password.
     
     
8. Tap “Sign In” to complete the setup.
   
   
9. Send yourself a test email from the account you just set up to ensure that you can send and receive messages properly.
